Pindaya:

Pindaya was a 2 hour drive in a taxi from Kalaw ($30). If you have seen the cave in Kalaw then you don't really need to see the caves in Pindaya ... just a much larger version. But the drive there was stunning, especially if you have just arrived from dusty Bagan. Fields and fields of cabbages, rice and cauliflowers...and stunning views. Nice setting on a lake and really friendly feel in the market where you will bump into the man selling extraordinary old musical instruments.

Bus and taxi to Nyangshwe as I was to impatient to wait for the pick up. Messed around some more on boats on Inle lake, attempted to go to the market at the southern end of the lake but we had the wrong day and it was pouring with rain. Also more on my bike and did my wonderful Kakku trip.
